Resume keyword optimizer

Check where each target keyword sits in your resume, how often it appears, and whether it is missing, overused, or listed without supporting evidence.

This tool is in beta

Still being tested. If a result looks wrong, tell us.

Report a problem

Paste resume text and at least one target keyword to audit placement.

The overuse thresholds, over 6 uses, over 3% of all words, or three uses on one line, are this site's conventions, not standards; no applicant tracking system publishes its rules. Matching is exact-word, so a related form such as managed earns a note where manage earns a miss. The most recent role is everything from the first dated line onward, and a resume with no dates is treated as one recent role.
