Plain language analyzer

The word lists are adapted from the plainlanguage.gov simple words list and the GOV.UK style guide "words to avoid" section, abridged to 102 entries, with GOV.UK's exceptions kept: advise stays for formal legal advice, indicate stays on forms, and opt out stays where it names a scheme. The syllable count is the classic rule of thumb, so the Flesch-Kincaid grade is an estimate, not a measurement. The sentence splitter is naive: "Mr. Smith arrived." counts as two sentences, and a line that ends in a comma starts a new one. Passive and double-negative flags are possibilities, not verdicts; read each sentence before you change it. For reading time and word counts, use the word and character counter.

One word per line; add = plainer word for a replacement

Up to 200 lines, 80 characters each. A line with no "=" still flags the word; it just cannot suggest a replacement.
