Zodiac birth chart calculator

Everything is computed in this tab from published low-precision astronomy: Paul Schlyter's planetary formulas with NASA Delta T polynomials, so the same birth data always draws the same chart. Planet positions land within about two arc minutes of professional ephemerides between 1900 and 2100. The Moon moves fast enough that a position near a sign boundary could read as either neighbor; the chart warns when that is the case. Houses use whole sign or equal on purpose: Placidus misbehaves at high latitudes and is hard to check by hand. Sidereal mode subtracts a Lahiri ayanamsa approximation good to about an arc minute. City list curated from GeoNames (geonames.org, cities500 database, CC BY 4.0), snapshot 2026-08-24, bounded to 151 major cities across six regions. Coordinates rounded to 2 decimals; ids are product slugs, not GeoNames ids.

This tool reports where the Sun, Moon, and planets sit against the ecliptic, which degrees rise and culminate, and which pairs face each other. What those positions mean for a life is a tradition, not a measurement, so no interpretations ship with it.
