Screen recorder
Record your screen, a window, or a tab in your browser — permission only on your click, every resource released on stop, and the recording never leaves your tab.
Checking browser support…
- The capture request happens only when you press Record — your browser then shows its own picker for what to share. Nothing is captured before you pick.
- Stop, leaving the page, or the browser's own stop-sharing button all stop the recorder and every track and detach the preview. The recording exists in this tab's memory until you download or reset it.
- The recording never leaves your browser: no upload, no storage, no analytics event with its contents. The download happens only when you click Download.
- Recordings are capped at ten minutes — MediaRecorder buffers in memory, and an unbounded capture would freeze the tab.
