PWA manifest checker

Paste a web app manifest and see which installability fields hold up, from names and scope to icon sizes and maskable purpose.

Manifest

Paste a manifest to check it.

This tool is paste-only. Reading another site's manifest from a browser fetch fails CORS, and this page never fetches, so the manifest comes from you: view-source, curl, or a DevTools copy. And valid never means the browser will offer to install it. HTTPS, a registered service worker with a fetch handler, and the browser's engagement heuristics all sit outside any local manifest check.

Context

Resolves relative start_url, scope, icon srcs
More settings▾

The link rel=manifest is lifted from here and resolved against the page URL.

Icon size checks read the manifest first. Drop a real icon file onto its row to confirm the decoded dimensions match what was declared.
