The scroll speed comes from the words-per-minute figure and the measured text height, so it stays true at any font size. Read aloud rides the browser's own speech engine, which keeps its own pace; the scroll still follows the wpm clock, and the two are close but not sample-accurate. Cue tokens mark delivery and never reach the reader's voice or the word count. Nothing leaves this tab.
