Nothing leaves this page until you do. Where the HTTPS checker gives a verdict, this one shows the whole chain.

The trace shows the first answers at check time, from this project's proxy and its network position. Sites that answer differently per region or per user agent can trace differently from a real visitor's browser.

Domain

Up to 2,048 characters

Type the bare domain, no scheme. The trace starts at http://yourdomain and follows every hop, up to 10, showing the status code and address at each step.

What leaves your browser

The domain you type is fetched over plain http:// and wherever it redirects, through this project's capped proxy server (GET only, public hosts only, size and time caps, rate-limited), because a browser page cannot request a plain http address itself. This page leaves your browser only when you press the button; never on load, never in the background. Nothing is sent anywhere else. Google Analytics still measures the visit to this page, and it never receives what you run through this tool.
