DMARC record generator

Build a DMARC TXT record by picking policy, alignment, percentage and reporting addresses, sequenced from monitoring toward enforcement.

This tool is in beta

Still being tested. If a result looks wrong, tell us.

Report a problem

The record builds as you pick.

A blind jump to p=reject can block legitimate mail: any sender that has not been aligned yet, including invoices or CRM mail from a provider nobody told you about, stops delivering. The staged order exists for that reason. The generator assembles the record locally and validates the addresses and percentage; it does not check whether the addresses accept mail, and publishing at your DNS host stays a manual step.

Policy

Policy (p=)Move down one stage at a time
Subdomain policy (sp=)What subdomains do under this record
Applies to quarantine and reject only
DKIM alignment (adkim=)Relaxed passes mail signed by your subdomains
SPF alignment (aspf=)Relaxed survives most forwarding
Comma separated, up to 5 mailboxes

Optional samples of failed mail; not every receiver honors ruf
