Smartwatch test

Run a step by step smartwatch inspection checklist beside the watch and finish with a graded, shareable report that hides the serial and most of the IMEI.

Report a problem

Guided checks

Run these beside the watch, one at a time. Each answer is your confirmation, not a measurement from the watch; the report says so.

Display

Open a white screen, then a dark one. Look for dead pixels, blotches, and burn-in from old watch faces.

Touch

Drag around the whole screen and type on the keyboard. Every corner should respond with no dead zones.

Digital Crown

Spin the crown through scrolling and zooming. Gritty rotation or missed steps point at a worn or dirty crown.

Side button

Press the side button several times. It should click firmly and respond every time.

Charging

Seat the watch on its charger. Charging should start at once and hold without dropping, and the puck should not feel loose.

Bluetooth pairing

Pair the watch to its phone and stream audio or a call. The connection should hold without random drops.

Heart rate sensor

Take a reading and compare it against another device or your pulse. Wildly wrong readings point at a failing sensor.

Wrist detection

Take the watch off and put it back on. It should lock when removed and unlock on your wrist without a passcode prompt.

0% complete · 0 of 8 checks answered

Every result here is a confirmation you recorded, not a reading the tool took, and the report states that on its face. Skipped checks never lower the grade; they stay listed as untested so a buyer can see what was not covered. Water resistance is not verifiable without a pressure rig, so it is not on the list. For an Apple Watch, unpair through the paired iPhone before the handover: a watch-side factory reset does not remove Activation Lock.

Device typeThe checklist adapts to the hardware

The serial and IMEI are masked on the report, so it is safe to hand to a buyer. Everything stays in this tab; nothing is sent anywhere or stored.
