Typing test

Type against a timed passage for 30, 60, or 120 seconds and get WPM, accuracy, and per character error highlighting.

Passage

two on know great up to oil no look did man same be then mean this see good can but turn it such what he not from work them number were my thing make end her about see work make about form one your year where did take show more would where form where no over first first make did place see out to water year know one so around not must has look out much me one about before make this man would are if all big your this

Start typing to start the clock

Net WPM counts a character per five keystrokes and subtracts the damage: wrong characters plus anything typed past the end of the passage. Raw WPM keeps everything you typed. Because only the final text is judged, a mistake you catch with backspace costs time but not accuracy, while a mistake you never fix stays on the score. The passage is generated in this tab from a fresh seed each run; nothing about your typing is stored or uploaded, and there is no account to compare you against.

Test setup

WindowThe timer starts on your first keystroke

Type in the box below. The clock starts on your first keystroke, so reading the passage first costs you nothing. Paste is blocked: a pasted run would measure the clipboard, not your hands.
