Double click test

Time the gap between clicks per mouse button and flag chatter, one press that registers as two, with adjustable thresholds and honest false-positive notes.

A gap under the threshold means two click events arrived close together. That is chatter when one physical press produced both, but a fast deliberate double click can land under 80 ms too, so one flag is not proof of a fault. Rerun at a lower threshold, about 20 presses per button, and treat a repeated pattern across thresholds as the evidence a warranty claim needs. Every measurement stays in this tab; nothing is sent anywhere or stored.

Chatter threshold

ThresholdA gap under this many ms counts as a double fire

Changing the threshold clears the run. The default 80 ms matches the window most chatter reports use; lower it if your double clicks are deliberate and fast.
