JavaScript obfuscator

Rewrites a pasted JavaScript snippet, or up to 20 .js files at once, into a harder-to-read equivalent you can copy or download as a ZIP.

Your JavaScript

159 characters

Paste some JavaScript to obfuscate it.

Obfuscation is not secrecy. Strings, keys, and endpoints stay recoverable; renaming only makes code harder to skim. eval or with disables renaming entirely, because a dynamic scope can reach names this scanner cannot see. This is a scanner-level pass, a subset of what a parser-backed tool does: destructuring patterns, catch params, and names inside template expressions are left alone on purpose, and a clean run is not a claim that the source parses. Nothing is uploaded; every transform runs in this tab.

Obfuscation options

Input mode
Same input, options, and seed always give the same output
Scope-aware for declarations this scanner can see
Strings move into an encoded, seeded-shuffled lookup
Plain integers become XOR expressions
A few seeded if(false) blocks

One paste stays under 50,000 characters; files mode takes up to 20 .js files. Output is normally larger than the input and slower to run.
