Salary offer comparator

Compare two to five offers on base, bonus, equity, benefits and commute, ranked by effective annual value with an hourly equivalent and findings.

The offers

Offer 1

blank = no equity
negative = cheaper city

Offer 2

blank = no equity
negative = cheaper city

Name every offer and give each a base salary to rank them.

The effective value is a budgeting figure, not an offer of money. Bonus is whatever you expect to actually receive, equity is the grant value spread evenly across its vesting years (no cliff modeling, no strike-price math for options, no tax on any of it), and benefits are worth whatever cash value you assign them. Commute time is priced at your own hour value, which only you can set. Relocation costs, signing bonuses, remote-work tax differences, and growth prospects are not modeled; fold them into the cost-of-living line if they matter.

Your assumptions

CurrencyDisplay only. The math is currency-free.

The hour value prices commute time against each package: 5 hours a week of commuting at 25 an hour is real money off the offer that asks for it.

Numbers stay within ±1,000,000,000,000. Compare 2 to 5 offers; each needs a distinct name.
