Enter age, weight and height to estimate your BMR.

BMR is the energy your body spends at complete rest, keeping your heart, brain and organs running. The Mifflin-St Jeor equation behind this number is a population average: it cannot see how much muscle you carry, and muscle burns more than fat at rest, so two people with identical inputs can differ by tens of kilocalories in reality. Treat the figure as a starting point, not a measurement. It is also only the resting share of your day; total burn adds movement and digestion on top. Nothing here is medical advice.

SexThe equation has a different constant for each

Age stays between 2 and 120 years. Weight must land between 20 and 500 kg and height between 50 and 300 cm once converted.
