Battery Series-Parallel calculator

Sizes a series-parallel battery pack from cell specs and reports voltage, capacity, energy, current limits, load draw, and a cable check.

Report a problem

Enter the cells to size the pack.

Series multiplies voltage, parallel multiplies capacity, and the two counts together are how many cells you need to buy. The C-rate ceilings, internal resistance, and cable verdict are estimates from the specs you typed, not a datasheet: a real cell's continuous rating comes from its manufacturer, a BMS watches what this page cannot see, and the cable model ignores bundling, insulation rating, and connectors. Stay well inside the numbers for anything that can burn.

Leave the load, internal resistance, or cable fields empty to skip those sections of the result.

Counts go up to 500 each way, numbers within ±1,000,000,000. The cable check is copper at 20 °C, drop counted there and back.
