Your files stay on your device

Redirect rule generator

Turn old and new URL pairs into Apache, Nginx, or IIS redirect rules, with loops and off-site targets refused.

This tool is in beta

Still being tested. If a result looks wrong, tell us.

Report a problem

Paste your old and new URL pairs, then press Generate. # lines are comments.

Loops, chains, self-redirects, duplicate sources, non-http(s) schemes, and off-site destinations are refused before any rule is written. Everything runs in this tab; nothing is uploaded.

Redirect Rule Generator

One per line: old path, then new. Space, comma, or -> separators. A trailing status overrides the default. Up to 500 lines.
Default status
Server
A full-URL destination is treated as another domain. An unintended one is an open redirect, so this stays off unless you mean it.

Exact paths only: no wildcards, no query conditions, no hostname rules. Sources are matched by path, so a source written as a full URL keeps only its path.

Runs on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
