Parse any user-agent string

Paste a user-agent string, see the browser, engine, OS, and device it describes — parsed locally by Bowser, with unknown fields named, never guessed.

Rules this tool follows
  • Bowser is the parser (MIT) — the plan's named choice over ua-parser-js, whose v2 license is AGPL. Its knowledge is frozen at the installed version, shown beside every result.
  • A field the string does not carry reads "not recognized": curl agents, gibberish, and reduced mobile strings all honestly return gaps instead of invented rows.
  • Versions come from the string as written — a spoofable, sometimes frozen token. The live report tool shows what the browser actually is; this tool shows what the string claims.
  • Nothing is sent anywhere: the string never leaves the tab, and pasted agents may describe someone else's device — that is the point of the tool.
