Screen and viewport, live
Your screen size, window size, pixel ratio, zoom, and display preferences, read live in this tab, plus what any website can learn from them.
Reading your screen… Resize or zoom the window and the values update live.
Screen size, pixel ratio, color depth, and light or dark mode together help websites tell browsers apart. Every site can read them without asking; this page just shows them to you.
- The pixel ratio mixes your screen's sharpness with browser zoom, so a 2 can be a high-resolution screen at 100% or an ordinary one zoomed to 200%.
- The gap between screen size and available area hints at where your dock or taskbar sits, and the pinch-zoom scale shows when you have zoomed in.
- Nothing is uploaded. Resize the window, zoom, or rotate to watch the values change.
