Piano tuner

Tune any piano or keyboard note from your microphone, with a cents readout across the full range and synthesized reference tones.

Meter

Press Start tuning and allow the microphone. The meter names the note, shows the cents deviation, and lights the key on the strip. Audio is analyzed in this tab only and is never recorded or uploaded.

Optional. Reference tones work without a microphone.

Keyboard, C4 to B5

A4 at 440 Hz. Tap a key to hear its reference.

The meter reads equal temperament at your chosen A4. That is the right reference for electronic keyboards and for checking one note at a time. It is not a recipe for tuning an acoustic piano: real pianos use stretch tuning, their unisons are tuned by beating two or three strings against each other, and the tuning pin work needs a lever and a trained ear or a dedicated hardware tuner. The microphone analysis and the reference tones both run in this tab; no audio leaves the device. The tool does not transcribe chords, measure inharmonicity, or store readings between visits.

The reference tone pauses while the tuner listens, so the meter never hears itself. Tap any key on the strip to hear its reference pitch at your chosen A4.
