This tool checks the format, then hands you the file unchanged. It does not extract audio from YouTube or any other streaming page, it will not touch links behind a login or paywall, and hosts that refuse cross-origin reads cannot be fetched from a browser tab. Files past the 100 MB ceiling are refused, and a wrong-format link is named as what it really is instead of being converted. Public availability is not permission; only save what you own or are allowed to save.

What leaves your browser

The link you paste is fetched straight from its host by your browser. Nothing is stored; the bytes live in this tab until you save or leave. This page leaves your browser only when you press the button; never on load, never in the background. Nothing is sent anywhere else. Google Analytics still measures the visit to this page, and it never receives what you run through this tool.
