MCP capability inspector

Paste an MCP initialize, discover or list response and get capabilities, a tools table with effective safety hints, and spec and injection findings without executing anything.

MCP JSON

Up to 400k characters. Tool names follow the 1-128 spec guidance.

This inspector reads what a server declares about itself and reports it. It never speaks MCP, never opens Streamable HTTP or SSE, and never calls a tool, so nothing you paste here can run. The safety hints come from tool annotations, and servers are honest or not on their own: an annotation claims, this page repeats the claim. Heuristic findings are word and character pattern matches written to make you read a tool before you trust it, not verdicts about intent, and the spec checks cover the required-field and pagination rules a paste can show, not a full conformance suite.

Examples

One response, a JSON array, one response per line, or bare results without the JSON-RPC envelope. Nothing is executed and no transport is opened; this reads pasted JSON and nothing else.

Runs on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
