# Viber chat widget

Enter a Viber number and style a floating button or embed box that opens a viber:// chat, then copy a self-contained snippet for your site.

Fill in the number and widget name to build the snippet.

The conversation happens in the visitor's Viber app; the snippet only carries the viber:// deep link and cannot tell whether Viber is installed. Because the number sits in the snippet in plain text, expect it to be scraped if your page is public. The hosted product this replaces hides the number behind a server-side widget key and counts views and clicks; this builder generates everything locally instead: no account, no key, no analytics, and no remote editing, so changing the widget later means pasting a fresh snippet over the old one. A CSP that bans inline scripts will block it.
