# Open graph checker

Fetch a page and check the Open Graph and Twitter Card tags sharing platforms read, with duplicated tags flagged.

This checker reads the HTML as the proxy got it: one GET, one page, no cookies sent to the target site. Platforms render their own previews and change their rules without notice, so the report says what the tags declare and what falls back, not what any one platform will draw tomorrow. For a paste first preview without any fetch, the Open Graph Meta Preview tool takes an HTML head directly.
