Your files stay on your device Document expiry planner Tracks document expiry dates with per-type renewal lead times and checks your passport against destination validity rules for a trip. Add a document with its expiry date and the timeline builds itself: when each renewal should start, what has already lapsed, and, if you add a trip, whether your passport clears the destination's rule. Month rules follow the common reading: counted from the day you leave the destination country, with month arithmetic clamping at the end of a short month (31 August plus six months lands on 28 February, or 29 in a leap year). The Schengen three-month rule also wants the passport issued within ten years of travel, read from the issue date. This tool does not check any country's actual entry rules; border authorities decide, and rules change. Nothing you type leaves this tab unless you tick the remember box, which stores a copy in this browser's local storage and nowhere else.
