- Half-open counting: the start day never counts, the end day counts when it is a business day.
- Days are calendar dates (UTC clock of the date you typed). Not 24-hour slices, so DST nights cannot split a day.
- The holiday list is yours: pasted, validated (real dates, no duplicates), capped at 400 entries. Nothing is fetched from any holiday API.
- Weekends are configurable: Sat+Sun is the default, Fri+Sat and Sun-only presets cover the common non-Western calendars.
