# Online notepad

A plain text notepad that autosaves in your browser only, with word, character, line, and reading time counters and a .txt download.
Your noteWords0Characters0Lines0Time to readunder a minute

Everything happens in this tab: the note is counted in your browser, never sent to a server, never put in the address bar, never written to browser storage, and never included in analytics. Note text is shown as plain text and never rendered as HTML, so a note can carry no script that runs. This notepad has no folders, no formatting, and no sync; for anything you cannot afford to lose, download the .txt file.
