# Claim source mapper

Find checkable claims in a draft and classify each as backed, weakly supported or unsupported against your own numbered source list.
Draft

Paste a draft and your source list to map every checkable claim.

This tool never opens a URL. Every verdict comes from the lines you typed: a claim is backed when the cited source reads as primary and its notes carry the claim's figures, weakly supported when a citation exists but the source is secondary, off your list, or missing the figures, and unsupported when no citation covers the sentence. Claim detection is a word heuristic (figures, superlatives, comparatives, causal and quantity language, research mentions), so it will flag sentences that carry no real claim and miss some that do. Sentences split at a period, question mark, or exclamation mark followed by a space, and numbers use the 1,234.5 format, so 4,2 reads as two figures.
