Your files stay on your device Spreadsheet column profiler Profile every column of an XLSX or CSV: inferred types, blanks, distinct counts, top values, quartiles, Tukey outliers, date ranges, and import warnings. The profiler reads your file the way an importer would: it classifies each cell, counts blanks and distinct trimmed values, and computes mean, median, and standard deviation over the numbers, where the standard deviation divides by n (population). Quartiles use linear interpolation, the same rule as Excel's QUARTILE.INC, and a value outside the Tukey fences (Q1 or Q3 plus or minus 1.5 x IQR) counts as an outlier. Workbook formulas show the results Excel last saved; nothing is recalculated. Dates in a workbook come from its number formats, and slash dates in CSV read US-style month first. A column of consistent nonsense still passes: these checks look at shape, not truth.
