# Markdown to DOCX converter

Convert Markdown text or a .md file into a Word document with real heading styles, lists, tables, links, quotes, and code, and download the DOCX.

The document builds as you type; download it when the outline looks right.

The file gets real Word structure: Heading 1 to 6 styles, live lists, tables with repeated header rows and alignment from the colon markers, clickable hyperlinks, Quote paragraphs, and a Consolas code style, so Word's navigation pane and a corporate template both work afterwards. Images become "[Image: alt text]" placeholders, and raw HTML, footnotes, and math stay as literal source text with every fold named in the notes above. This is a GFM subset, not a full CommonMark implementation: lazy continuations and deeply nested mixed constructs may differ from GitHub.
