# Markdown to PDF: GFM, Sanitized, pdf.js-Verified

Render Markdown to a verified PDF in your browser: GFM through one authoring path, pdf.js-verified output, .md/.html exports too.

Markdown renders through the existing unified pipeline to HTML, then the same sanitized preparation and the same PDF engine the [HTML to PDF tool](/files/html-pdf) uses ( takumi-pdf@0.13.1 ). No second renderer, font system, or verifier exists: and every output is reopened with pdf.js before download.

- GFM renders: tables, strikethrough, autolinks, task lists; raw HTML in Markdown is dropped by the pipeline and counted as a fold.
- Remote images in Markdown are skipped and listed, never fetched; data-URL images survive preparation.
- Fonts ship as bundled Latin/Latin-ext bytes; a glyph no registered font covers fails the render with the char and codepoint.
