# Images to PDF: JPG and PNG, No Re-encode

Build one PDF from JPG and PNG images. JPG bytes embed raw, PNG re-embeds with identical pixels, pages sized to the image or to paper.

- Only JPG and PNG embed directly, other raster formats are refused with a reason; convert them first at [the image converter](/images/convert) (GIF stays refused here).
- No EXIF stripping. JPG bytes travel as-is; PNG bytes re-deflate with identical pixels on the way in.
- Nothing is uploaded: pdf-lib runs in a worker in your tab.
