# VCF merge and split tool

Merges up to 50 vCard files into one .vcf or splits a multi-contact file into one file per contact in a ZIP, copying each vCard byte for byte with contacts you can untick.

Add .vcf files to list their contacts.

Each card is copied exactly as exported: properties, folded lines, photos, and nonstandard fields travel untouched, and the written file is re-parsed before download. Merging does not de-duplicate; look-alike contacts with different UIDs stay separate, and a duplicate cleaner tool owns that job. Split filenames are sanitized for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and a repeated name gets a -2, -3 suffix rather than an overwrite. Line endings come out as CRLF, the form vCard 3.0 specifies. Nothing leaves this tab; there is no upload and no server.
