# Font file inspector

Read a TTF, OTF, or WOFF file — names, metrics, glyph count, tables, variable axes, and a sample outline. opentype.js runs in a worker; the preview renders as path data in a sandbox, and nothing is installed.
Font file

- WOFF2 is refused with an honest message — decoding it needs a brotli WASM build nothing here has approved.
- Font collections (.ttcf) are refused: one file, one font, one report.
- No rendering claims beyond the sample path — glyph quality on YOUR screen depends on your rasterizer.
