# SQL formatter

Reformat SQL for reading across six dialects with keyword casing and indent choices, without ever executing the query.

Paste some SQL to see it formatted.

This tool rewrites whitespace and keyword case. It never runs your SQL, never opens a connection, and never checks it against a database, so a tidy result does not mean the query is correct or even that it would parse. Keyword casing touches only the dialect's reserved words; column and table names stay exactly as you typed them. Long column lists inside plain parentheses keep the comma-per-line treatment, IN lists stay on one line.
