# DOM complexity analyzer

Paste HTML and get element count, maximum depth, widest parents, repeated structures as DOM hotspots, a tag breakdown, and findings against the 800 and 1400 node thresholds.
HTML to analyze

Paste HTML to measure its DOM.

The analysis runs in this tab through the browser's own HTML parser, so a fragment is measured as the document a browser would build from it, implicit html, head and body included. Text and comment nodes count only when they carry characters. This tool cannot fetch a URL, run JavaScript, or see what your framework renders at runtime; paste the rendered markup from devtools instead. The thresholds come from Lighthouse's DOM size audit guidance, not from this site.
