Social media engagement rate calculator

Reads a CSV or TSV of up to five thousand posts and computes engagement rate by followers, reach and impressions per post, with mean, median, pooled rates, IQR outlier flags and a CSV export.

Engagement rate has no official formula, so all three denominators are computed side by side with their formulas stated. A blank interaction cell counts as zero; a blank denominator leaves that rate empty rather than inventing one. The pooled rate is total interactions over total denominator, the honest figure when post sizes differ. Outlier flags use spreadsheet QUARTILE.INC quartiles and the 1.5 IQR rule, reach rate first, and need at least four posts. This tool compares your own posts; it names no benchmark, rates across platforms are not comparable, and giveaways or boosted posts can skew every figure.
