Your files stay on your device Zero-Coupon bond calculator Price a zero-coupon bond from face value, yield, and years to maturity, or solve the yield from the price you paid, with either compounding. Fill the bond's terms to price it or solve its yield. A zero-coupon bond pays nothing along the way, only its face at maturity, so its price is the face value discounted back: face divided by one plus the yield over the compounding periods, raised to the number of periods. Finding the yield runs the same equation the other way with a bisection search over the declared rate window, so the answer is as precise as double arithmetic allows. This is a pricing formula, not a valuation: it knows nothing about default risk, taxes, or the shape of the real yield curve.
