# Z-Axis rotation calculator

Rotate a point around the Z axis by an angle in degrees or radians and see the new coordinates next to the 3x3 matrix that produced them.

The rotation about Z is the 2D rotation of X and Y with Z riding through untouched, so this doubles as a plain 2D point rotator when you leave Z at 0. Whole multiples of 90 degrees snap to exact cosine and sine values instead of the float residue a radian conversion leaves. What this tool does not do: rotate around X or Y, compose multiple rotations, or work in homogeneous coordinates.
