Your files stay on your device Voltage drop calculator Calculates voltage drop in volts and percent for a cable run and finds the longest length that stays inside your drop limit. Enter the run to see its drop. Single phase counts the trip there and back, so the drop doubles; three phase uses √3 and reads the drop between lines. Resistance comes from a resistivity model of the conductor metal corrected for the temperature you enter, not from a cable standard, so a real stranded cable usually drops a few percent more than this. Compliance work belongs to the tables in your wiring code, not to this page.
