# Vendor evaluation scorecard

Ranks vendors against your own weighted criteria and shows every arithmetic step plus the weight at which the top two would swap.

Name every criterion, weight it, and give each vendor a score to rank them.

The total is a weighted sum of scale-normalized scores, rescaled to points out of 100, with cost criteria flipped so lower raw scores earn more. That arithmetic measures the weights you chose, not the truth: a different weight column gives a different winner. Gate minimums never change the points; they surface as pass and fail flags because a disqualification deserves a recorded reason. The swap weight assumes only one weight moves at a time. Quality of evidence behind each score is entirely up to you.
