Enter any two of distance, speed, and time. Average speed is total distance over total time, always. The harmonic mean shown next to it equals that only when every leg covers the same distance, and the arithmetic mean of the leg speeds is the number people reach for first and it almost never is the average speed: two legs at 100 then 50 average about 67, not 75. Paces convert straight across, so a 5:30 kilometre is the same fact as about 10.9 km/h.
