Your files stay on your device SMD resistor code calculator Decodes SMD resistor markings in all four systems and converts a resistance value back into every code it could carry. Enter a marking or a resistance value. Three digit means the first two digits times ten to the third, the E24 5 percent world; four digit means the first three times ten to the fourth, the 1 percent world; R, K and M mark the decimal point, so 4R7 is 4.7 ohms and a leading R reads milliohms; EIA-96 pairs a two-digit position in the E96 table with a letter multiplier, so 01C is 1.00 times 100. The trap case is 100, which is 10 ohms, not 100. Zero-ohm parts print 0, 00, 000 or 0000. Per IEC 60062 this tool refuses house codes and tolerance suffix letters rather than guessing at them, and the EIA-96 column only appears when the value sits on an exact E96 mantissa.
