# Percentage calculator

Solves the three classic percentage questions as you type: x percent of y, x as a percent of y, and y percent of an unknown.

Each panel solves the same triangle from two sides: a part, a whole, and the percent joining them. The result fills the third slot, and the formula underneath shows exactly which division produced it. Two combinations have no answer and say so instead of guessing: dividing by a base of zero, and backing out a base from a percent of zero. Nothing here rounds for you; the digits shown are the digits the arithmetic produced, with float noise trimmed at twelve significant places.
