These four formulas came from medication dosing work between 1964 and 1983, not from studies of what anyone should look like. They share one shape: a base weight at five feet plus a fixed amount per inch above it, and none of them accounts for frame size, muscle, or age. The useful output is the spread between them, not any single number. For a real weight target, talk to a clinician.
