Your files stay on your device Distance between two airports Pick any two airports by name, city or IATA code and get the great circle distance in km, miles and nautical miles with the initial bearing. Pick two airports to measure the route. The result is the great circle: the shortest line over the Earth's surface between the two fields. It is not road distance, and it is not the track an aircraft flies; winds and airways bend real flights. The bearing is the initial compass heading at departure. Everything computes in this tab against a dated public-domain snapshot, so tiny coordinate differences against other sources are normal.
