Your files stay on your device Violin tuner Play synthesized reference tones for the G, D, A, and E strings or let the microphone listen and tell you flat, in tune, or sharp. Press Start tuning, allow the microphone, then bow one string at a time. The tuner names the nearest open string and how many cents it sits from pitch. G3196.0 HzD4293.7 HzA4440.0 HzE5659.3 Hz Tuning order that works Tune the A string first, then match D, E, and G to it in perfect fifths. Use the fine tuners first and the pegs only when a string is well off; turn pegs towards you to raise the pitch and away to lower it, a little at a time. Detection follows the string's fundamental, not its loudest harmonic, and it listens between 170 and 720 Hz: low enough for a flat G string, high enough for E5. Tone length is capped at 4 seconds.
